Licensing in Florida, and where this fits

In Florida, skin care professionals register through the state’s cosmetology board as facial specialists, and that registration is what allows you to practise. Requirements and renewal rules are set by the state and can change, so always confirm current details with the Florida Board of Cosmetology.

This programme does not grant, replace or renew a Florida license or registration, and it is not state-mandated continuing education. It is advanced professional development for after licensure: the consultation, skin science, communication and business mastery that licensing courses do not teach. If you need credits for a specific renewal requirement, check with the Board first.

You say beauty therapist. I say esthetician. Is this for me?

Yes. Beauty therapist is the UK term for what the US calls an esthetician. The programme is built for skin and beauty professionals whatever the local title, and the skills taught, consultation, skin science, retail, client psychology, translate directly.

What time are live classes in Miami?

The main live window for the Americas is Tuesday 2:00 to 4:00 pm Eastern (shifting one hour with UK daylight saving). A second weekly class runs on UK mornings, which falls overnight in Miami; it is fully recorded with written tutor feedback.
