No. New York does not mandate this programme and it does not grant, replace or renew a New York esthetics license. It is voluntary advanced education for professionals who want more than the licence minimum; check any licensing questions with the New York Department of State.

What are the live class times in New York?

Tuesday 2:00 to 4:00 pm Eastern is the live Americas window, shifting one hour with UK daylight saving. The second weekly class runs on UK mornings, overnight in New York, and is covered by recordings and written tutor feedback.

Beauty therapist or esthetician: does the terminology matter?

Beauty therapist is simply the UK term for esthetician. The programme uses UK terminology but the skills, consultation, skin science, retail, client psychology, are the same profession everywhere.

Six months is a long commitment. Why?

Because mastery is not a weekend certificate. The programme is paced for working professionals: a few live hours a week, recordings, practice between sessions and tutor feedback throughout, so the learning actually changes how you work.
